What are the payment options?
You can pay by invoice or a credit card.
Can we use icons or illustrations on items for sale such as t-shirts, cups, etc.?
Yes, you can use icons or illustrations for print purposes under the Basic license, as long as you are not selling them. However, if you are interested in selling print products such as posters, cups, t-shirts in bulk where an icon or illustration from the API is the primary graphical element, you will need to purchase the Extended license.
Do downloads of free content count toward the credit limit?
No, downloading free items is independent of the credit limit on paid plans. The limit only counts toward the number of downloads for premium content.
Can we pay annually?
You can pay on a month-to-month or annual basis. We will even give you a 2-month (18%) discount for paying annually.
Can we change our plan at any time?
Yes, if you are paying on a monthly basis. If you paid annually, you can change your plan and limit of downloads after that year’s billing cycle.
What if we hit the limit of credits?
When you reach 80% of your credits limit you will receive an email with a warning and information on how to upgrade your account for access to more credits.
Can premium icons and illustrations be used for commercial use?
Yes, all premium items are covered by the same licenses: Basic license, Extended and Exclusive licenses.
When we use premium icons or illustrations, do we need to attribute the designer?
No, the Basic license does not require attribution of any kind.
Do we need to attribute the designer when using free icons or illustrations?
Sometimes. This is defined by the license of the items in question. It is possible to filter out items that require attribution.
Can we resell the icons or illustrations to our users?
No, you can’t sell or distribute items in a way where customers could extract the items and use them for other purposes, but you are free to charge for the use of premium items within your product or service. For example, you can have the premium icons and illustrations library available in a web design tool and charge your customer for access. But you may not simply offer users the option of artwork for paid downloads, thereby creating a competing service to Iconfinder.
Can free icons and illustrations be used for commercial use?
